Title: Apache Gan aka "Devil Dancer"
Condition: Front is flawless, nice texture from the cowhide, and the hand painted colors of the image are vibrant, as if they were painted yesterday. This postcard is vintage, postmarked 1946. With that being said the back of postcard does have writing on it and was mailed at some point, well September 25, 1946 to be exact.
This is a very unique postcard and looks great framed and displayed. The hand-painted imagery of the Native American "Devil Dancer" has been done extremely well and has a lot of eye appeal, especially with the cowhide contrast background. Definitely a conversation starter. The back has copy explaining the significance of the "Devil Dancer".
